For our technique segment, Wayne teaches us about how speed limits are an effective means of increasing fuel economy and safety.
Next, a special topic should give us all a reason to celebrate - Traffic Fatalities are at a record lows!
Kacey then goes into detail about E10 fuel and the problems it has caused. Many stations around the country are selling now selling non-ethanol laced gasoline because of it.
Manuel tells us about Ford’s EcoBoost technology being recognized for its innovation that has the potential to change the world.
For those of us not familiar with EcoBoost, this system uses turbocharging and direct gasoline injection to boost engine output, reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency by as much as 20 percent.
Finally Wayne tells us about Chevrolet’s Caprice comeback with a police cruiser variant in 2011. It is a modern, full-size, rear-drive sedan offered with either a V8 or V6 engine and a whole host of specialized equipment and features. More importantly, will it or should it stand a chance with a future of $4.00 or more gasoline prices?
